Vote-Kick Function in 5-man Dungeons is terrible for the game.
Kicking a player from instance--group through 3 players voting 'yes' to a 4th players suggestion.
1: There is no line beyond this happening, protesting/"reimbursement" of any sort. When it happens its done, no game-master investigates anything upon request.
2: Many players vote "yes" just because they can / afraid to get problems with rest of group if they dont vote yes. Voting yes without having an idea of why or if they should do the kick.
3: The function is exploitable for 4 guildies/related players to get rid of a 5th player to get in their friend form outside who needs drop from typically end-bosses. The kick was more or less planned from start.
4: There is a social aspect to joining 5-man dungeon runs. If you do you have no right to expect any minimum- skill in other players. Players didnt sign any consensus with Warmane or Blizz on this. Only thing you can expect is for players to not use really bad language. The best way to succeed in dungeons is to cooperate, help others and be friendly. And do not assume things. This is what should be rewarded. Have people interact with each other, this is the icing on the cake that the game should reward.
The kick function supports anti-social behaviour in the game. The internet and WoW struggles enough with this already.
I wish you to run into AFK tank in RDF if kicking is disabled. See how much fun that is. I don't do much RDF, and hardly ever is there foul kicks, though that might be because of my geared characters not being "dead weight". Nor do I kick low DPS/tank/healer because they need the RDF more than I do.
1. It's a simple kick, no need to cry over it. If it keeps happening to you, make a premade for RDF. Not worth the time nor the effort to start scolding players for this. It's only a waste of time.
2. Many vote yes because (****ty/slow/afk) DPS is slowing it down. People are hesitant to kick healer/tank as replacing one might take long. I don't think many vote yes, because they're afraid they'll be kicked. People don't know who voted what.
3. Or they want to roll NEED for MS/OS to gear character(s). It's unfortunate for the 5th, but negative social encounters are part of the social interaction everywhere you go. RANDOM dungeon finder is very RANDOM as to what RANDOM dungeon you get, and what RANDOM players you'll meet, and how RANDOM they can act. If one or two aspects of RANDOM is too much, make a premade group to negate that.
4. If you do your part, you are very unlikely to get a kick, shocker, I know.

1- What are you protesting and why should you be reimbursed? Do you think you should have an option to plead your case with the group thats already decided they are kicking you or that you should get EoT & EoF for bosses you didn't kill?
2- Have you ever kicked anyone? You have to give a reason for the kick before the system will allow it. So this point makes no sense.
3. This point also makes no sense because, why wouldn't they just invite their 5th guild mate from the start? Secondly, you can't chose who takes your place or who to invite.
4. Expecting people to be social with you is ridiculous. No one is obligated to engage with you outside of their role in the dungeon. They aren't your friends; they just happen to be playing a game you are playing.
You just don't understand the system. While its a good place to make friends and find guilds- that isn't a requirement. The Kick functions properly and the way it should- if the group finds you unsatisfying to play with then thats the end of it. I personally kick people all the time. Pull your weight and you won't be kicked. Your conspiracy that people are out to get you and get their friends loot is just that- a conspiracy.
Looking at your profile, and seeing that your account isn't even 2 months old, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you are new to the game. You are playing a game that is over a decade old that has a huge learning curve and a large amount of veteran players who expect someone who is playing the game to spend atleast 5mins reading a guide on how to properly play their character; and that isn't too much to ask at all. My younger cousin started playing WoW this past year, and the kid spent hours reading information and watching videos on how to properly play his class. He now knows more about Rogues than I do (and I've played for 15 years). I mean this in the most polite way, but if you don't have that kind of dedication, then WoW isn't the game for you. It isn't like CoD, Fornite, or Skyrim. There is a lot of expected knowledge you must learn and its all readily avalible- you can't simply just play and learn from experience. You'll never learn proper rotations or builds that way. You'll never fully grasp dungeon or raid tactics that way either. So if you are sincere about wanting to play WoW and actually have a good time, then invest some time into better learning your Class and I gurantee that will solve your dungeon-kick problem.
What you need to do is find players who want to do same things as you, make friends, make/join guild with them. I know this is crazy concept for people who have not played older games, but you have to make things happen for them to happen.
And yes, lots of people will expect you to have at least vague idea what you with your spec/dungeon/raid are supposed to do. It's completely ok to run around and just wander, enjoy the unknown, but in situations where you are supposed to cooperate - people will expect you to carry your weight.
