Every year I've received coins and points on both of my accounts for New Year's gifts. This year I received 9 coins on one of the accounts but got 0 on my main? Which should be a little higher, when it comes to donation rank.

For one, they're gifts. Saying gifts should be "higher"... yeah...
That aside, they are based on donations made during the current year. Your rank is irrelevant if all the donations you made were in previous years and/or small in 2021.
