WotLK quest fail

I completed the cooking quest in Tanaris but i did not recieve the rewards and the cooking advancment

They don't give support with quests. I lost the Druid Mount summon item upon turning the quest in and the response was "We don't restore/help with lost quests or rewards". I had to make another druid just to do mount runs. You're going to have to level up cooking using different recipes.

talk again with "Morthis Whisperwing", he will give you a new quest "Eternal Vigilance" (even if you see no mark over his head)

Yeah, i already know that's how it should work but I get nothing but the basic dialouge. No items, no quests. Already contacted GM about it, which I stated in the comment to OP.

Lol. 20sec after I posted the reply, I happened to open my key bag, BOOM. There it is. I feel stupid. Lol.

open your keyring (bag-slot specific for rings).

Edit: Indeed :P
a Few months ago they have made a fix. Now that item is stored on keyring instead of bag (cuz it was like that on retail)
