Sound issue

Hello. Does anyone know how to turn off surround sound effects?
I have tried all the options in-game, but I still have issues like NPC voices are often very loud, and if I'm moving while clicking on NPCs the volume of the voices go up and down as I turn my character, it's very annoying. If I turn all the volume down I can't hear any of my spells, or just barely, while NPC voices are still loud and definitely has a surround effect still active no matter what I do in the options.

Did you try turning off the "Headphone mode" property under audio? Also, try changing "Use Hardware" option.
