Icecrown - Crossfaction raiding

So I started playing in Frostmourne since 2 months ago as alliance, and I have to say it's completely dead. No one does SWP, ZA, TOGC10/25 or any other content other than ICC10. I find my self multiple times just AFKing in Dala or SW doing nothing but waiting for someone to RL a raid. And no I can't RL as I don't have enough xp to RL people. The economy is dead too as you can't even find materials for your profession in the AH.

From the other side, we have the horde dominating the charts for raid clears and are many times more active than the alliance in both PvE & PvP. Even though I want to play as a human from the alliance, there is no way I'm going for this faction once more in the next saison, it is CLEAR that horde offers a better experience than alliance.

I used to play on this private server that had crossfaction raiding enabled, so it didn't matter if you were alliance or horde, you can groupe up with the other faction, that way everyone was satisfied(+ it makes sense from the lore side). And it is, in my opinion, the best method to keep both factions balanced.

The purpose of this topic is to know if this is:
1- Doable.
2- Is gonna happen in the next saison. (from the start)

Because if not, I rather just roll horde and be done with it, even though I've never been horde nor do I want to, if that will make me enjoy the game more then so be it.
