Create Death Knight from Level 55 Character as Contributor

Hi All,

I have the contributor status.
So when I want to create a Death Knight I can simply do it without a level 55 character.

I wondered if there is still a way for me to level a character to 55 and turn it into a Death Knight.

This is for the sake of RP / completionism to level a character and then turn it into a Death Knight. But it seems I can only create a new DK from the creation, not choose an existing level 55. (although I do not have an exact level 55 char right now)

Well, it always was so that you just create new character as DK, not turn one of your current into it

I see. I thought it would keep all of the Achievements / Progression etc. from that char.
