WotLK Lordaeron - PVP alliance / horde.

Hello my fellow WotLK Fans.

I was wondering, after years i picked up WoW again.
And decided to play on the 1x server.
So i was wondering, how is the pvp there? as in Alterac valley for example?

Anyone that can give me some insights,? and how is the Allian, horde ballance?

When it comes to the PvP experience, Lordaeron is propably the worst or at least the hardest realm to have a good time. This is due to all realms (except for the MoP realm and Frostmourne) being linked via crossrealm function, so as a Lordaeron player you will face people from Icecrown and Blackrock in BGs and in Arena.
I think its self-explanatory why coming from Lordaeron you will have a tougher time than coming from the other realms (no possibility for donating gear, no starter gear, slower leveling, slower professions, harder raids etc...) but if you are a decent player and willing to invest the time, then of course you can still have a great time. It's just harder and more time-consuming. If you want to get full Wrathful Gladiator Set and Weapons for example, you will most likely need to get weapons in PvE first because there is no access to lower tier PvP weapons. If you don't care about getting the highest tier gear, then you can just easy farm Relentless Gladiator Set (no rating required) and itemlevel 232 Weapons from ICC Dungeons or lower tier raids and propably get put into the lower tier BG bracket.
On Lorderon Realm Alliance side is more active in PvP while Horde seems to be more focused on the PvE side, but there is a Mercenary Option for the BGs and you will often be teamed up with players from Alliance side if you play Horde. The other way around, trying to get queued as Alliance in BGs while being actually Horde doesn't really work out.
In World PvP I think Alliance is more active and better organized when it comes to city raids and so on and also wins Wintergrasp more frequently (not sure tho) but Horde also wins Wintergrasp so it feels quite even in this regard.
If you like Alterac Valley, you should hope not to get put into the higher Gear Bracket in BGs because AV gets used by some Icecrown premade groups for increasing their Honorable Kill numbers and they don't play the BG for winning, therefore don't care about objectives and will actively stop you doing so if you are on their side. This is also the case in Isle of Conquest, the other BGs are more or less fine.
