Technical Forgot forum account name connected to WoW name

With Frostmourne S2 ending I need to be able to log in to the forums to transfer my characters. I'm wondering if there is a way to figure out which forum account is registered to my WoW account.

Opting not to write the account name here as I assume it is not allowed to be the same as the forum name for security reasons.
Will send in PM or something if a moderator is able to help.

I have looked through all emails that I can remember, and still have access to, but can't find any account creation mails that correspond to the account I need.

Are you maybe looking to the "email address" linked to your wow account? (since there is no need to "know" your forum name. To log here on website you need to use "warmane account name" as to log in-game with a client)

So, you have 2-step authentication on website and as result you can not log with that account here?

try https://www.warmane.com/account/retrieve -> 2-step auth removal

If it does not help, you need to contact "support team" by sending an email to [email protected] for support

No 2FA on the account, and trying to recover using the link you sent just gives me the following:

"messages":{"error":["The recaptcha challenge failed, try again."]}}

On Ubuntu 20.04

Using the same account name as I use on WoW doesn't work for me, and logs me in on a different one of my forum accounts it seems. I'll check again to be sure.

click on "RETRIEVE" button manually (instead of using "enter" key of your keyboard)

It seems I was just very confused, it does properly log me into the same account... Oops 😳
