I think people should get temp bans for it. The most annoying thing in the world when there's multiple doing it on the same mailbox.
Or you could just .. and laugh at their efforts blocking mailboxes.
This should be bannable.
It is so annoying and toxic to do this kind of ****. Every day, for almost 2 weeks.
Not only is it the same two individuals, but nooo. Now it has spread, so other trolls start to block the other mailboxes.
This should be 1000% bannable, for at least 2 days...
Our limited roster of GMs sincerely has much more important things to deal with than ban people because someone won't roll their mouse scroll to zoom in. Sure, it's on a childish level to rival a 4 years old throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of a packed mall, but it's harmless and takes less time for you to solve it yourself than for a GM to issue and record a ban. It's threads and posts like this that cause it to happen in the first place. If people zoomed in and ignored it there would be no point in doing it, the only reason kids do it is because there's this sort of reaction.
This is the GM's response from 1-2 years ago. As you can see, it's not bannable, and as other users have already said, there are plenty of easy ways to overcome this issue.
For mailboxes - zoom in with your mouse, go to another mailbox/go to a different city, use baby spices, or kindly ask someone to drop a MOLL-E (let's be real for a bit - asking this in chat will be quicker than creating a ticket with screenshots and ****).
For NPCs - zoom in with your mouse, use baby spices, or "Shift" + "V" and right click on the name of the NPC in order to interact with it.
For portals - either wait for the portal to disappear or go to Shattrah and then to take a portal to the desired city.

Since inconvenience is not an issue worth noting anymore, I suppose that I could go to Teldrassil and just start slaughtering all low-level quest mobs. Then when people say something, I can say "kek go to Elwynn Forest or Dun Morogh n00b" because they can still level up without all the level 2 quest mobs I'm killing by the dozens/hundreds.
This basically stems around a couple guys in a specific guild doing this to grief their own side. Even if they alone were to be banned, it would set a precedence and scare others off who might see that this kind of childish crap and think "hey I can get away with being an A-hat too". An ounce of prevention.
Can you circumvent all mobs at a starting zone being dead by scrolling your mouse wheel up?
Seriously, don't let that profile picture influence you to the point of dumbifying your posts.
The notion of zooming in sorting the issue is a false one, that suggests a crowded mailbox not a blocked one so then it's just the other solutions. The guy with the Trump picture seems to be correct.
No, but it can indeed be circumvented. So what are you saying? There's a gradation as to how much people can be inconvenienced before it gets to "disrupting gameplay"? What if I went to Brill and just laid waste to every NPC I could find? Lowbie undead players can't sell bag contents, turn in quests, anything. Is that an acceptable amount of problem-creation, or is it officially into "disrupting gameplay"?
Please, I'd like to know this. What's the line to cross? The mailbox thing is worse IMO, because at least some lvl 80 horde could come out and put an end to it. All we can do in Stormwind is just vocalize our desires for these guys with statements involving perishing in a domicile-based pyrotechnic display, or akin to an 80s retrovirus that seemed to target a specific demographic.
Well you can by going to other zone, "dont be lazy and use scroll wheel to zoomi", well dont be lazy and walk to other zone. If you lack GM's i agree this shouldnt be high priority but you can set example by banning some of them for a few days "... has been banned for blocking mailboxes"
If you really see those as on the same level, there's no point in saying anything else.
GMs aren't going to issue bans for people blocking mailboxes with large mounts when that can be (and has been, for a long time) dealt with zooming in the camera. If anyone wants to dwell in whataboutism scenarios, feel free to experiment and let people know where the line that gets you banned was drawn.
Guys, it's been one day, and you have not been able to access the mailbox trying it all this passed day. Pretty crazy, but don't despair, I can log ingame and spawn a MOLLE for you. Or you actually got to access mailbox and this is not a real problem?
There is, however, an overwhelming outcry in community posts on these forums asking for some sort of moderation on the community and it's toxicity. The servers are plagued with toxicity and a few asshats trolling the entire server. Be it killing bankers/auctioneers, camping low level zones and spam ganking and 1-shotting people just tryna do quests and mods/gms calling it "world pvp" when it's always been known as "zone disruption" and griefing, or just being a dick and forcing people to kick you in an rdf.
The toxicity has been consistantly ignored by warmane till the change in banning rdf hostage takers and racial slur spammers which was a good start, but it's really nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Even making a few GMs out of the tens of thousands of players here, giving them coins and gold or some simple reward, and having them be responsible for taking care of trivial tasks like community management would go a long way to reforming Warmane into a much better server than it already is. The server is already good and having a few jabs at community management would solidify it as a rival to blizzard content.
