After this morning server crash noticed that icecrown converted heroes do not drop green items at all anymore for me and apparently few guild m8s also. Don't know if its intended or not but definetly killed best spot ingame for getting raw DE mats+cloth. Any1 else got same issue and/or was it intended? (just fyi spent about 2 hrs theer not 1 green dropped and just 1 blue and cloth is way lower than supposed to be normally,in half hour to hour i get about 35-40 there for DE....)
Wouldn't call it a problem. Quite opposite, it helps server as a whole in economic terms. Now if only we could somehow automotise banning of all those lvl 80 paladins with **** gear and epic fly mount, grinding mines 24/7...
I have nothing to do with these paladins. Sometimes I farm green items while waiting for RDF. In addition, I understand that not everyone has lost such an opportunity. Everything else falls. Is this the way to fix the economy?
Well i have one of those paladins....you can often see me posting about making BS stuff....not botting though (playing on 7 yr old laptop and barelly have knowledge to make macro for kissing frogs at argent dailys lol) still i can kick those bots butts...cos u know bots arent perfect...and if u know routes and are focused and also thx to randomness of spawn points of veins i do believe myself to be winner there. Anyhow market wise i wouldnt know about greens cos 90% stuff i farm goes to alts or guildies...and seeing it took 2 days for any1 beside me torealise this change...well then u know my competition farming mats tehere isnt crazy or ruining market or w/e....most people think of it as boring af (me included sometimes). Now what happens is ton of new players we got in guild in which i am now cant get starter bags to help them out...thats all there is to it on my side cos it wasnt rly worth selling bags in first place now if i have to work 3x harder just to get my own mats onn 3 different spots...definetly wont be worth it. And in my opinion new people on server are whats important not us hardcore rpg junkies but fresh meat...some1 to make us do some raids or stuff we wouldnt normally go about doing anymore...and not to mention the influx of possible donations which preserve servers for all of us together. Hope i made some sense here. GL and HF out there folks :D.
I can confirm. I tried 4 different zones in northrend trying to find mobs that still drop them, spent about an hour each, got no greens at all. I've noticed since yesterday.
