1. What's the point ? ( new player )

As I understand there is no resets on lordreaon and icecrown so what's the point of playing once you beat lich king ?
I am talking about pve. Pvp is different so there is always something to stick to but I was just wondering about pve.
Is it like 1 shot journey from lvl1 to lich king and that's it ? Or there is some other activities after that ?
I am just curious. I would like to play from the beginning of expansion, doing all raids and stuff but if we are on the last patch
already I am not interested to be honest. Especially if there is thousands of players with max lvl just waiting to kill me while I am
    lvling :D.

  2. So don't play I guess? There is plenty of PvE content, but if it's not your jam then I guess find a different game. I, for one, pretty much only play for PvE stuff with the occasional PvP to add a little spice and I enjoy it.

  3. You could play for achievements. You can farm gold. You can just play to get that little seratonin boost of reaching a new level until 80 then re roll as a different class. You can just play to socialize and meet new people/friends. There are plenty of things to do outside of PVP and if none of them appeal to you, then you can always play a different game.

  4. do you have LoD and RS25hc on all 10 classes, all 27 raid specs?

are you the best player of your class in each 25man hc raid?

theres always new things to practice and learn, we just play this iteration of the game because its the most enjoyable version for us.

i have friends that come to wow for 1 month to kill the Lich King on 10man normal and think they have completed the game, meanwhile they are completely clueless that they just got boosted in a 9man icc that i had to bring a bis char just to get them invited xD

killing LK isnt the endgame, we killed that guy 14 years ago.

if you dont enjoy repeating content then a static patch private server probably isnt for you, maybe try the new Onyxia realm?

i personally dont like progressive content anymore because it feels like a full time job to keep up with the progression, and if you take a break you fall behind.

on icecrown i can take a break for a year and come back to pick up where i left off.

at a certain point pve just becomes pvp, playing vs other players on the dps meters

Doing all that qualifies as a job.

Thank you. That's the answer what I was looking for. I think I will wait for onyxia realm and I will see.
