1. Banned for a week without reason. How to proceed?

Like, I just got home and wanted to play a little bit of WoW. Yesterday I joined the server, and after some hours of play I got a warning + kick that i was "using a cheat" but there's none at all. All I know that my .exe is modified to use newer patch files on another server. I wasn't using anything that would be harmful to the server in any way. Is there any way I can appeal to be unbanned? Or like, there is anything i can do about? I continued to play today because I thought the anti-cheat was a false alert, but i just got banned out of nowhere. It's just sad.

I would also like to hear if something in my game is enabling this, to remove afterwards. I disabled all of the addons, and none of the disabled ones are harmful either.

  2. I drive above the set speed limit, but I only drive in a straight line, why am I getting cited for speeding, I'm not endangering anyone.

    That's basically what you're saying.
If you want to play on warmane and you don't want to get kicked in the sack by the anti-cheat, use the regular 3.3.5 wrath client with Large Address Aware applied to wow.exe. If you want to use some higher res models, then look for such that don't require heavy game file modifications so you don't trip the AC.

  3. Using a modified client from elsewhere is enough to be detected as tampering with the game. We at no point ever state that you're safe using some custom client from elsewhere, so your ban was completely justified - the anti-cheat detected something that shouldn't be there and acted, there was no false positive, you used something we haven't approved at your own risk.

What you can do is use a regular, clean client, such as the one we offer a link to a torrent that has been verified and confirmed for years now.
