1. Addition of more class-race combinations

Hi, as the title says, and from my perspective, more race-class combos would be great, in a game that's been solidified on a particular formula for quite a while, so, here are my reasons why it'd be an addition worth reviewing:

    1. More variety in PvE and PvP.
I reckon this could instinctively be frowned upon because of a possible break in the system. How maybe some people would racechange for the sake of tryharding, and to take advantage of new combos. To that, two counterpoints would be that one: that's the point and two: how subjective that can be, as there are other factors that may influence performance despite racial abilities, inside the game (RNG, a player's skill, teamwork and communication) and outside (lag, power outages, other players reactions and things one can't control). We've seen horde (the stereotypically not-PvP-oriented faction win arenas and competitions), and alliance (the stereotypically not-PvE-oriented ones, perform nicely in this area). I understand there would be some disparity in regards to new combos such as how humans would be the new meta for PvP hunters. But, that already happens, in Blackrock, a lot of people already go humans mostly, as you can join either side if enabled. However, there's a number of people who just create them based on how cool they look at first, and then they're stuck with them and don't care for changing. Mind you, I haven't been discriminated for my racials, being a draenei paladin or a tauren rshaman, despite these not being considered the best combos for PvE, but not saying it doesn't happen at all, in general, just being skilled, willing to learn and cooperative is what matters in the end, or what faction your friends are playing in. (In fact I've been called a fcking fat cow, a stoopid big draenei, or a f4g belf, but that's a whole different problem with ignorant, disrespectful people)

    2. More customization.
Imagine how cool a human hunter or troll warlock in some transmog sets would look.

    3. We can have known-yet-new things.
I know that this server aims at a no-changes philosophy, despite already having a number of custom things, such as the transmog system, the custom events (Christmas, PvP), the added difficulty on Lordaeron, and the custom PvP Blackrock realm, which are new and cool things that don't stop people from playing/supporting the server. I reckon that adding new things to known things brings lots of benefits.

Here's my list of new combination suggestions:

    Human hunters
    Dwarf mages, warlocks
    Night elf shamans, mages
    Gnome hunters, priests
    Draenei druids
    (8+)

    Orc mages, priests
    Undead hunters
    Tauren priests, paladins
    Troll warlocks, druids
    Blood elf warriors
    (8+)

Some of these are quite simple and make a lot of sense, like human hunters and blood elf warriors. Others were already starting to be settled into the game toward the final part of original Wotlk, like how there's a night elf mage and a tauren paladin in Dalaran, who send you to Darnassus and Thunderbluff respectively, to talk about these new combos with their leaders. Others have slowly been added later in other expansions on retail, with their new lore, like gnome and undead hunters, dwarf and orc mages, orc, gnome and tauren priests, troll druids. And others. Others, I've seen from NPCs, such as troll and dwarf warlocks, mage and priest orcs (troll and orc tribes, twilight and dark iron dwarves), and what I imagine would make sense from a nature perspective (draenei's nature-affinity as shamans would support the idea of being able to learn druidic arts from night elves, and for night elves to be able to become shamans from the draenei).
The technical side of new druids and shamans could be seen as a challenge, so my suggestion is to give draenei the same night elf shapes, night elves the draenei totems and trolls the tauren shapes.

As always, there's going to be a certain population who would oppose to these changes, but there would probably also be others who won't care, and others who will welcome it.

To conclude, I think the pros outweigh the cons, but at the end of the day, the ball is in your court. I'm trying my luck and I am looking forward to hearing suggestions.
    Thanks for reading.

  2. This dives deep and fully into:

"Do not post suggestions that include the following

    • Custom content - If there isn't a good reason for it, don't post it. We normally have no interest in custom content at all."

While we might have certain custom features, they don't change any fundamental mechanics of the game, which this definitely would.
They also aren't a gateway for other custom changes to come in their wake.
