1. A change I would like to see that no other server has done: 10 people raids

With the upcoming progressive servers, I would like to ask for 10s raids. SPECIFICALLY for vanilla content. Unlike Blizzard's classic "view" on the topic, I don't want to feel the true spirit of classic and no changes. Collecting 40 people, working on benches, manage ALL OF THEM and keep them happy with loot is a daunting task. Let's face it, people who play MMO's today aren't children with tons of time to spare, we are (mostly) in our 20s and 30s trying to play on our free time (from family, work and IRL related stuff). It would be beneficial in my opinion, to have a smaller but good raid group, rather than 40 people to then slice in half when TBC comes.

Feel free to comment, support, disagree and debate on this topic

  2. How old do you think people who played Vanilla were? It's the same age bracket by the way. If people did it back in 'nilla, I'm sure people of today with much better grasp of MMORPG's, information, and games in general can easily do it more effectively.

What you're suggesting isn't something that fits with the 3.3.5 we are here for.

  3. Even if this was considered, it would likely be a side thing, an extra for people wanting to try something different, and naturally not with the same rewards as the real deal. The way to progress would still be the regular raids, with the inherent difficulty involved in organizing that many people. I'd also not picture anything like this at release, but a project for the future, assuming the Developers decided to do it in the first place.

  4. You have blackrock upper spire that's a 10 man raid for the pre raid bis gear in vanilla, I feel like 40man raids was a great idea a little to early, even a good computer could barely handle it, most played with lowest graphic settings etc and the global internet speed back then was around 100 kb/s. But these days we all play wow on computers that can handle 10 wow Windows open at the same time and 40man raids should if anything be considered be brought back now, with a few tweaks like increased loot tables from bosses. I played wow myself for 17 years and 10 man raids is the dullest experience, the more player, more chaos the more fun imo. It's the whole 40man raids that makes me play vanilla, without it I would never even think about it.
