This is so silly. Why is looking for guild channel only available to people not in a guild?
Wonder why global chat get's spammed with guild advertisements every 60 seconds by every player in a guild.
Maybe global chat would be cleaned up if the chat channel with it's only purpose to advertise guilds allowed people who are trying to advertise guilds to do so.
Seriously why hasn't this basic concept been addressed yet?

You would assume so, but no. Just one more channels to get spammed on with the same messages. Even raid spam for sure.

Mainly because you misunderstand how advertising works.
People will always spam the channel with most reach/people in it. Unless warmane for some weird reason starts to enforce the use of certain channels for certain types of messages the answer is simple: Nobody is going to use extra channels anyway, so why bother?
Heck even Raidfinder is working and nobody really uses it because global is established for over a decade now.
