Nothing was spawned in Dalaran, that included objects such as mailboxes or portals. They were not there at all. But this is fixed already at least in Icecrown.

Mailboxes we were aware, it was just portals that was a bit broad, but the fix for them is done (just not live, I believe).
Any issues with professions? Someone said they weren't working properly or loading in another thread, but that's very vague.
