Returning player, realm change?

I have been playing this server on and off for a few years. Have always played the Icecrown server, but dont make it far into 80 as i can never meet the unrealistic GS requirements for groups and it just puts me off, but i love the population amount. Was looking at the Onyxia server which seems cool? Not sure yet. Was wondering if any vets here can help me with my server decision or give me some insight into how the servers play. (Besides this server i have only ever played retail WoW up to WOTLK and have tried out SOD aswell. Im not knowledgeable on much in WoW and play it casually)

I have 3 lvl 80's on Icecrown and am looking to play a Shaman next as thats what i've been playing in SOD (i know the changes dont exist here but Shaman seems fun). Not sure if this will mean anything or not

Unrealistic GS requirements are everywhere. To bypass, or to make things easier, joining a guild would help you a lot. High GS can be achieved without a guild, but it will be a longer path to walk on.

I was part of a guild but they werent helpful at all. Not sure if ill jump back to Icecrown or Onyxia
