Technical Instant disconnect on log in

Title says it all. Even tried re-downloading the game. Was logged on earlier today and now its an instant disconnect as soon as character page is loading. i cant get in far enough to change realms to see if its an Onyxia specific problem.

i got to the character selection screen running compatibility mode windows 95, but trying to enter game it crashed.

Ive messed with the realm list, ive made folders readable, cleared cache, etc. ive done literally everything i could find on the old forum posts scattered across the internet.

My PC is has a 12th gen i5, a 6800xt gc, and 64 gb of ram. Windows 11. i know its not a hardware issue because i literally was just in the game at around 12pm EST today. all drivers are up to date, all software is up to date. ive always ran compatibility mode windows xp sp 3 with no issues.

Nothing ISP wise has changed in years. Never had this issue until today.

Ive donated over 100 USD since 2016. It would be nice to still be able to play. Im not sure what to do at this point. I feel like ive exhausted all options

Have you tried closing the game and renaming the WTF folder to something else?

i havent tried renaming it, but i tried deleting it and that didnt work. what should i rename it to?

renaming didnt work. flushing dns didnt work. nothing that has been suggested in the past in the forums is working and it seems as if warmane staff are non-existent.

MoP works fine, log in no problem. seems its an issue with the WotLK client provided on this website? I was playing the Onyxia realm when all of this started. tried changing my config file to default to icerown but still not working
