Now i will say here , i've tried several troubleshooting already
1. Removing xbox gamebar proccess's and services on startup and disable them on Windows settings and also startup
2. disable several Security features in windows settings and also deleted the norton free trail antivirus i i had (didnt need it anyway)
3. exclude the entire folder in windows security list
4. reinstall the game into a different disk
5. reinstall gpu rtx4060 drivers for nvidia and change to studio both didnt work
6. sfc /scannow in cmd as adminstrator
7. chkdisk in cmd as adminstrator
8. change the drive location from utorrent installation location and remove read only permission as mention in older post's
9. restart pc after update windows
10. allow start as adminstrator on wow.exe
11. dxdiag return no issue's
spec :
ASUS MB B760M-A PRIME
32GB ram - ASUS cards ddr4 x2
rtx4060
i7 14th - 700
windows 11
2TB NVME
I have 2 Monitors which also belong to ASUS connected with HDMI
I also got this error after trying to login. Running on Mac but using Parallels. I've tried reinstalling the client, removing the cache, restarting computer. I guess I'll try reinstalling parallels next.
Same here, running on an m2 pro. Tried reinstalling windows as well.. Sadly reinstalling Parallels did not work out either. Every help is deeply aprecciated!
Seems like nothing. You can try all the fixes and maybe it will work. I've tried allocating more memory to the VM, deleting windows in the Vm and reinstalling, reinstalling the client, etc... Lots of things but none have worked for me. Could just be a waiting game. Give it a few days and try again
The cause of this all of a sudden is unknown as far as I'm concerned. I also have m1 with parallels windows 11 vm. While previously working, all of a sudden it doesn't. My fix was this:
1. go to wow.exe properties
2. compatibility tab
3. tick run this program in compat mode
4. select windows 8
5. tick run as admin
6. change emulator settings
7. tick use advanced settings
8. tick all
The exact fix for me might me one or all of the settings, but since it's working with all I don't bother testing combinations. Hopefully it won't affect my fps on already sub mediocre performance on high gpu fights.
