Technical Autentication code

Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to eliminate the authentication system because it seems too annoying that every time I log into my account, it always asks for an authentication code sent to my email. This is not a bank account, so why so much security? In the end, if my account gets stolen, it's my problem... I'm fed up with entering this code, and to make matters worse, now it asks for the code, and the email never arrives. So, I have to open my account on the Warman website and wait for them to send the code there, log into my account on the website, and only then can I log into my character in WoW. Please, remove this, I don't want to enter a single code anymore!

Having the same issue here. The system not sending the code sometimes. And even when it does, it's really annoying to be doing this all the time. Please remove

Get Google Authenticator for your phone, enable it from MY Account -> Security. Much more convenient than email code.

Some things missing from the above information:

1. When I was relying on only email authentication, I was constantly being asked for a code Every . Single. Time I logged into any part of Warmane. By contrast, when I use the actual 2FA authentication, I rarely need the code and due to phone apps is far faster and convenient than checking an email account.

2. You do not need any specific 2FA app. There are very many because they all do the same thing and it is an open protocol called Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP 2FA). There are apps that are purely offline for example and have zero links to the same companies that store your primary accounts like Google or Microsoft or Apple. Many are completely free and open source, some are free + adds, and some require some form of payment. Some come attached to other features, e.g. with a password manager. In general, it is best to keep your 2FA app separate from anything else, including passwords, for security reasons.

Popular TOTP apps, other than the big three tech data companies I mentioned above: Aegis (Android), 2fas (Apple).
