Hey yall I didnt see a thread for this when I did a quick search, but I am asking about the honorable kills for ranks. I heard its like 19k hks needed for r14 and I would like to know the time commitment for that. I dont have a lot of time to play, usually 5 hours on sunday and maybe another 5 throughout the week.
Im about to hit 60 as a horde player and wanna know
Whats the average HK amount per AV, WSG, AB? How long are the games usually?
Whats the HK amount needed for rank 13?
If its ungodly amount then just off to build up gold for tbc coming out in maybe 4 months.

With about 10 hours of farming a week, you would have about hit R14 now, if you started in December around after kill trading skyrocketed the AV popularity. Back then 90% of AVs were bridge farms and if people weren't afking too much, you would get around 300 HK/h. R14 is 60000 HK, R13 is 42000. If you got into a bad AV then you will have to leave and wait around 30m till you can get into another one and pray that it is better.
Now the situation is far worse, at most you have 1 AV going per day and instead of it being open 24/7 you only have 5-8 hours when you can get into one, which also means longer queues and no ability to reroll. And with AQ out and Nax about to get released, R14 gear became outdated for PvE, so unless you can dedicate a lot of time and effort for low returns, I'd advise against going for PvP ranks.

The drop in activity on the realm makes the av grind pretty hard. You can run AV for about 4 hours per day during the evening. And maybe 6 hours during the weekend. During this time u can expect around 300 HK per hour.
So for epic mount at 19k HK u would spend 63 hours or so.
For r14 weapons u need 200 hours.
