Working DPS Meter

Hello,

For some reason my Recount has stopped showing. /recount does nothing and says command doesn't exist. Same with /recount show or resetpos.

Tried Details and Skada - but neither actually appear.

Have deleted WTF folder etc - but no change.

Any ideas please?

You probably installed Skada/Details wrong. Extra folder between Addons folder and the actual addon is probably breaking it.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBMverFor335/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBMverFor335/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC

Try deleting your cache in C:UsersAdministratorDownloadsWorld of Warcraft 3.3.5aWTFAccount<your warmane account name> delete "cache.md5" then go into Icecrown or any other realm that is in that folder find a folder with your in-game character name on it and in there also delete "cache.md5".

Also go to "SavedVariables" folder and look if there is more than one "Recount.lua" file if yes then delete them and leave one

Another solution that helped is that i had 2 different DPS/Damage meters one was Skada and other one was Recount so try deleting the other DPS/Damage meters that are not Recount

And i recommend try downloading Skada Damage Meter in my opinion it way better

PS: If you decide to download Skada make sure u deleted the Recount Damage Meter from your Addons folder and while you're in the character selection windows look for for the "Addons" button at the bottom left corner and make sure u check "“Load Out of Date AddOns” and then just press "Okay"

Also what helped me i had 2 damage/DPS counters in my addon folder so i deleted one

Ohie, checked how they were installed - both correct
And /recount *anything* does nothing :(
It was working until I touched Elvui, silly me!

Sounds like combat-log is broken. Get the combat-log-fix addon and check again.
