1. Ninjas

Can you do something with the ninjas? It's starting to get tiring that you run out of loot 3 raids a week because you want to take everything illegally... people are stopping playing because there are more and more ninjas, ninja, you report them and you see that they continue playing the next ones weeks without being sanctioned... and if they are, after 60 days you go back to ninja

  2. Make better reports so the staff can act on them. If the player is repeat offender, their bans gets longer, and eventually a perma ban.

  3. the last ninjeo the whole loot the whole party reported to him and he's still there in dalaran riding icc...

  4. I joined two different icc 25 hc raids today and both leads ninjaed HC marks and few items. Ridiculous 2 in one day, reporting doesn’t work it seems.

  5. And when the leader finishes the raid and ninjas the items of the 12 bosses, what tests do you take? and he says that we should not go with suspects... how am I going to assume that a 6.4 wizard like yesterday or a 6.9 dk was going to ninja... we are not fortune tellers we just want them to be punished with permaban or people will stop playing, no We want to spend 3 hours in a raid so that someone takes everything illegally.

  6. They won't get a permanent ban for taking drops, something retail didn't give any punishment for at all.
You are free to join a guild that will take you along or to organize and run your own PuG raids that you will distribute loot properly, though.

  7. And is it fair for someone to leave 24 people without loot and wasting 3 hours? Yes I understand that but not all of us have availability for guild time

  8. It has nothing to do with fairness. Joining a stranger's PuG is a risk that you're taking. Nothing about the game itself, no rules or mechanics or whatever are exploited when someone decides to be a dick and take all the loot. As far as the game is concerned, you accepted that they had full control of the loot by joining their group, and they just used that. We take a step further and, when sufficient evidence (in the eyes of the GMs, not yours) is provided, give a temporary ban to the offender, to try to dissuade people from doing it, but that's as far as we're willing to go currently.

Your issue with guild times isn't something we can take into account or be responsible for. There are lots of guilds out there, from all sorts of countries and time zones. It's a hard pill to swallow that you have the time to join a PuG, but not an organized guild that will raid in times you can, and if there really isn't, create one.

You also skipped the suggestion of running your own PuG groups, for some reason. That doesn't take being in a guild or creating one, just taking the role of raid leader yourself to make sure loot gets distributed right.

  9. Over several years me and obnoxious have bumped heads over ninjas, I strongly advocate the ninja rules being put in and even that you should be glad for since basicly warmane goes beyond whats blizzlike and try to make our realms better in that regard, if you can't include suffiecient proof to begin with that's on you, you have to realise how easy it is to NOT include something in a "ninja report" and Ban someone for something that they didn't even do.

  10. So, there's a significant issue with the moderators not being willing to go beyond a temporary ban, especially when it's 7x experience and people can just level up another account (at no out of pocket expense) or two in a very short amount of time and then just keep doing it. Blizzard banned exploiters, and there were significant social ramifications for being blacklisted when you had to spend such a large amount of time when leveling up a new account, while also paying out of pocket for multiple accounts, etc.

What's worse that I'm noticing as a huge difference is, there are different expectations for what is and isn't acceptable for even need vs greed on this server compared to every Blizzard server I ever played on had, between the players. "Need" only if you legitimately have a need for it, "Greed" otherwise. Here, it's like the wild west (US History) where people click that Need button with no asking, no explanations, no nothing, and they expect it to be okay almost no matter what. People here give Rogues, even fully geared out Rogues, a free pass to Need on literally every lockbox they see, and it's absolute nonsense. Sure, a Rogue has a lockpick skill, as does my GF's Rogue, and she needs those skillups too, and we ALL need gold as well. 2h Weapons get Needed by players who will be literally holding a drastically better weapon in their hands, and are shocked when you call them out for it. The social standards on this server are absolutely screwed up. But I digress.

This is because you did not properly asses environment you are in and are acting as if you are somewhere else.
You are playing on Warmane, so play as if you are playing on Warmane, not Bliz. That is really simple.
Do not trust random ferals. Make your own circle with people you want, people that will press need on lockboxes or play in whatever way you all agree on.
Stop trying to make this place into something else. You don't go into car repair shop and ask for 500kg of carrots. That's delusional.

  12. Still waiting for a comment on starting a guild or being the raid leader of your own PuGs, two solutions to your problem that would do away with the need for reports or worrying about how long a ninja is banned.

  13. another icc, third of the week and third ninja... 100% of ninjas this week... but it is better to defend the ninjas by saying that it is our problem to choose them as if we knew they were going to ninja or not

You can rage, huff and puff, but you will get ninja every day if you don't do something about it. No one gives a **** if you walk into den of snakes and they pull one over you. This is not a solo game, I understand that "modern" audiences have reaaly hard time to grasp this, but if you want half decent game, you must find people to play with. Mom is not coming to make everything nice and easy for you.
