I have a question about selling a character on Warmanes website/trade system. When I go to list the character, the website puts in a price automatically for me as a "minimum" and when I try to erase that number to lower the price, it reverts back to the websites minimum. Why is this the way it is and is there a way to delete that feature? No one is going to pay 471 coins for a discipline priest on icecrown that is NOT NEAR BiS.
Because your character has items that are in our Coin Shop. Their cost is always going to be added to the minimum (with a discount, so it's still slightly cheaper to get a character with the items than all the items individually). Obviously there won't ever be a way to "delete that feature." We're already offering an opportunity for characters to be traded for Coins, we aren't going to make the Coin Shop pointless on top of that.
I understand where you're coming from but no one is going to spend that kind of money for a character. That minimum is super unrealistic to what people will spend and it's like a middle finger to a lot of your dedicated player base who is looking to sell a character.
You do realize we're not under any sort of obligation to offer the possibility for players to Trade characters at all? We do that, but it will happen under our stipulations. You have the options of trashing items that increase the cost or selling the character without any inventory. If you won't do either and the price is unrealistic, it's on you to accept the fact you have an unsalable character in your roster.
