I've decided to join the ongoing discussions about the TBC launch for practical reasons. As we all know, WoW is no longer a game mostly played by kids with open schedules. I’m pretty sure most of us are adults with jobs, families, and various other responsibilities. Because of that, it would be amazing if you could give us some heads-up regarding your plans so we can adjust our lives and find a way to fully dive into the TBC experience.
The second thing I’d like to mention is the importance of clear instructions on what we should really be testing on the PTR. What are the biggest issues that need focus? It’s obvious that the current version is highly WotLK-oriented. I understand it’s challenging to work on such a large project, and it requires many sacrifices.
I’m not asking for an exact date, just a small hint — maybe something like, “Dear gamers, we’re working hard, and we need you to test this, this, and that to help us move forward.”
And by the way, November 16th is almost Onyxia’s first birthday.
Timeline so far:
18/05/2024 - AQ launch
20/07/2024 - Naxx launch
12/08/2024 - TBC PTR opens up
03/09/2024 - T4 raids open up on the PTR
------------------------------
Potential timeline:
There are still quite a few important bugs to fix, so 2-3 weeks more of PTR testing is to be expected, I think
(25/09/2024 : 04/10/2024) - TBC pre-patch
The pre-patch might last a few days/ a week/two weeks depending on how they approach it
(05/10/2024 : 20/10/2024) - TBC Launch
My assumptions: Announce about Prepatch this week to gather auditory. Prepatch launch 20.09.2024 cuz upcoming weekends. No point to launch it in the middle of the week.Should no time to launch it 20, so it might be 27.09.2024 then.
I would agree about TBC launch 04-05.10.2024 though.
You can follow along progress in the bugtracker. They're still focusing on class fixes and initial release content. They did release the raids for testing although there hasn't been progress there it seems. Which I'm glad it's all getting fixed and working well for release, but that sort of thing is hard to assign a timeline to.
Best Decision is to REMOVE/delete all honors on all characters from 75k to 0 (ZERO), wont be fair for other. I have the 75k cap and Agree to be deleted all honors and marks!

Since you guys hate the current Onyxia population so much. How about they ban all players, and delete all characters, to even the playing field when TBC launches, am i right ?

There's no point to this why? If we get a pre patch for TBC you can easily get 75k honour in a week.
Yes, they already put all Naxxramas items on Store for Coins, this for sure means TBC pre-patch is close for me 1-2 weeks. And i think the right things to do is remove all Honor Points and Marks. This is how classic has to be.
To quote Mercy from just a few days ago, they do not have any idea on the timeline for TBC at this time. "There is still a sizable amount of work that needs to be done." The only reason Naxx gear is on the store is to squeeze a little more money out of people who will now buy Naxx gear to run Naxx.
