There seems to be an issue with the amount of XP in the dungeons. Done several ramps and BF. Getting 1.2k xp per mob. Some research and videos from official TBC launch showed 700xp per mob. That means we're currently getting 1.5x rather than advertised X3.
We also tested X1 and was 400xp.
I suppose this means that technically we are getting X3 xp but the base rate is not blizz like. Is this by design?
Today was extremely disappointing. Between bg xp being removed, to dungeons giving lower xp, to the nonstop high latency, I’ll wait till people disperse for new fresh next week. Will just hope the game becomes playable for us .. the network congestion is so bad , idk why they have 12000 ppl log in clearly they can’t handle it, for me the ping is unbearable never had such a bad experience. The network congestion is so bad. And I have great internet, never had issues on many private servers / retail. What a sad ****in day. Ggs. I’d rather not play then to be hating every second with a massively fluctiating 220+ ping it truly is a terrible unbearable gaming experience. Meanwhile I can multibox on classic with 5 accounts at 40 ping, lol
You guys are used from TBC classic where it gave ****ton of xp just because blizzard promotes people to have social interraction with each other so they boosted XP gain coeff in group ... So on Warmane it is MOB XP / 5 players, on TBC classic its for 5 players something like MOB XP / 3,3

This is incorrect. In original retail Vanilla and in 2007 TBC there was an exp boost for being in groups. It's not just "exp divided by 5." I don't recall exactly what the boost is but it's something like 20-30%.
If only questing was an alternative but as it is you have got to be a servere masochist to enjoy waiting in line, standing on a spawnloc etc. Nobody enjoys this? Dungeons could be a nice alternative but with this xp rate i doubt it is - evne when waiting in line is taken into account.

As someone who played OG retail and never touched "Classic" I'm giving this thread another +1. Rates are wrong.

Bro, in classic the rates were so bad you didn't want to dungeon spam; only groups who wanted to not compete for quests on release did it and it took 140~ spam runs to hit 70.
So that is what is being compared to, and from a x1 perspective, the rates are currently far worse here than classic, which was already low.
