I am sure that for anyone playing alliance on onyxia has rather unplayable experience. I have noticed that many of the guildies want to sell character in order to buy another on horde. Right now even though Warmane statistics say that there is 61% horde and 39% alliance, I can say without exaggeration that at least in nagrand I meet 1 alliance player on 6-7 horde players. I've created a character on horde side and the global chat is a lot more fluid than the alliance one.

It is also very challenging to find endgame content groups, RDF takes on average 15-30 minutes as dps.

My suggestion is to give bonuses to alliance and make it possible to switch to alliance for free in order to fix this as Warmane has been doing this before on Icecrown realm.
