Technical I cant see the Addons button in character selenction and also on interface optio

i downloaded the WotLK version 3.3.5a on this site to play on onyxia and manually installed some addons from the onyxia addons forum but i cant find the addons tab on interface or character selection also the addons that i installed don't seem to work or even load

i deleted the interface folder to reset it to default just in case it could solve the issue. this image is the addons folder by default on warmane WotLK 3.3.5a

Your picture shows that you have not installed any addons. Do you have any picture with the addons installed but not showing in the game?

yes i saved the addons that i downloaded from this forum and non of them even loaded

What's inside those folders? You should see the code of the addons, and not another folder of the same name.

On character selection screen, at the bottom left you can see "AddOns" click that, enable desired AddOns, and tick that Load Out of Date -box.

There are no AddOns on that list? Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is usually the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC

I'm right now re-installing the game from utorrent Web but in a safe folder with windows security exceptions. and also i will try to play on WotLK (not TBC).

If that's all you have in your addons folder, it means you don't have a single addon installed and Addons button will not show.

yes you were right for some reason dbm was divided into diferent folders which disabled the addon button for every other addon
