1. What is the point of character level up?

I played WoW (Holy Priest, 2005-2008) and had to stop due to its addictive nature. Returning casually after 15+years, I opted for a private server and a character level up to streamline the experience. However, the boosted character lacks the necessary faction reputation, making casual instanced play less accessible. This highlights how the game, even in a private setting, is designed to incentivize prolonged playtime. What are my options for quickly gaining the necessary reputation to facilitate casual instanced gameplay?

  2. There are no reputation boosts. All you need is some 3 reps for your enchants/ring.

Game is a "waste of time" by definition, if it doesn't entertain you, don't bother.

  3. Okay, thanks for info. Actually doing dungeons with friends and hanging out is fun, but not the grind.
