It would indeed be nice. It's not clear which patch the changes are aligned with. Some items are most likely missing. The original SSC patch was 2.0.3, and Timeless Arrow was released in the same one, but I don’t see it in the game
The changes are aligned with no patch, they are doing some weird mishmash of old TBC patches and Blizzard's Classic TBC phase system, doing worse than either approach. And judging by how many hotfixes they had to make after the start of Phase 1 they also don't really know what list of changes they are following themselves.
^this pretty much.
I think they either don't know what they are doing, or they are putting in 0 money and effort. Considering they are trying to justify the situation whit made up on the fly, nonsensical crap, for sure this isn't the product of a precise plan or vision of the project like they are trying to pretend
It seems 99% of the complainers dont even understand the difference between a 'patch' and a 'phase'.
Phases weren't a thing in the original TBC.
I cannot reveal the full list but it was made on October 6th 2024 for professions. We did the research, implemented it as we stated we would and as we already had for all of vanilla. You had a release schedule months in advance for raid content, in that same post it was stated that professions will be patch gated (not spells, talents, stats on items etc, just profession recipes), you had the ptr up since naxx and every single time someone made a report about an item/quest missing the exact patch/raid it releases with was stated.
Timeless Arrow is locked to hyjal summit because it requires Scales of the Shifting Sands reputation and the patch it was added in is not 2.0.3 but on the ptr during 2.0.10. Even if the arrows were in the game there are barely any ways to get the rep for them.
They are using Blizzard's phases to decide when to release raids and pvp seasons while using old patches to decide when to release other content like crafting recipes and druid's fast flying form. It makes zero sense to do this. The reason patch 2.1 added so much stuff to the game isn't because what it adds is super strong and had to be kept for BT, its because Blizzard ****ed up when making 2.0 and left weird holes in gearing and profession leveling that they used the patch to fill in. Like, they didn't release Heavy Knothide Armor Kit alongside BT because it's 10 stamina was too OP for tiers 4 and 5.
