Fraction change

Is there a limitation for switching fraction from Horde > Alliance and vice versa?
Also, what happen with the the items on the auction, will the items be moved in form of items if not sold or gold to the new fraction?

There is no limit to how many times you can change faction.

I don't know what happens to the items, I believe you can't access them until they get sold or expire, but to make sure I recommend you cancel all your auctions before you change faction.
