1. New player | Few questions about server

Hello everyone, after a few years away from WoW i decided to come back.

After some research, Onyxia seems like the most interesting project at the moment, since you get to experience TBC and then a progressive WOTLK (which is what i'm mostly after).

I have a few question about the server that i couldn't find online, thanks to anyone who will answer.

    1. When will the server migrate to WOTLK?
    2. What are the server rates? (5x exp from 1 to 60, but what about rep, prof, drop, etc.)
    3. What class/spec is in high demand and will stay in high demand with WOTLK?
    4. How is the population? Can you gear through pugs or you need a guild?

  2. 1. 3,5 phases left, that is about 11 months left of tbc. We are currently in phase 2, with SSC and TK released.
    2. 5x exp from 1-60, 3x exp from 60-70, the rest ist vanilla-like
    3. Tanks and healers, as always. Pala tank probs?
    4. you can see the current amount of players logged in on the homepage, currently Onyxia 7830 players . Since raids are post-nerf, you can pug through the expansion if you invest enough time.
    welcome and have fun

Wrong, roadmap has already told us Sunwell will be in September, I doubt it will get delayed like AQ was last year.

  4. he is absolutely correct - https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=469924

don't know why i remember that every phase lasts 3 months. my bad!

  5. Im new and play on icecrown but im not fine in this server, wanna start on onyxia for growth whit a guild and start wotlk ready and whit new Friends. Horde or Alliance most ove populated?

  6. If I had to pick one ideal class for Vanilla-TBC-WotLK it would be Shaman. In Wrath especially I see people spamming for resto shaman all day just because of bloodlust. And it's so easy to gear. In Vanilla/TBC raid groups want one per group so it's always in demand. In TBC you can play ele/resto/enh no problem just as long as you're shaman people take you. You can even have terrible dps and people still like you and give you gear. That blue name tag has supreme power.
