Can those horde farmers be banned for disrupting gameplay, they farm Isle of conquest and Alterac every night for months now
What about what they are doing fits in this exactly:
"Disrupting gameplay: Using minor exploits or poorly designed parts of game mechanics to noticably interfere with other players' gameplay. Examples of such are: Resetting NPCs while other players joust with them on Argent Tournament and joining RDF only to idle and refuse to leave on your own to avoid the debuff"?
Not that I agree with the thread but AV and especially IoC are indeed poorly designed in this regard. The only option to end the battleground is to feed the enemy team until the reinforcements run out. Feeding is such an objectionable practice that some games ban you for it, but here you are mandated to do it. I have no idea if current retail has measures to counter this; I would be happy to be enlightened.
i am a boxer irl and if i run like a coward judge tells me to go back to fight. they dodge fight, gather and lure us into grave, then wipe us and farm us. how is that not disrupting. they dont do objective, only farm
You still didn't answer the question I asked.
All you did was say "they are disrupting my gameplay by beating me in PvP."
its not fair fight, aliance never have premade and they are in premade every single night with DK mboxer griping 5 target same time, imposible to heal, not fair!!!
So? You're just doubling down on "they are disrupting my gameplay by beating me in PvP."
I don't know whatever gave you the crazy idea that PvP, especially the chaos of a random Battleground, has to be "fair."
ban the auto afk report addon cause that's the real issue. you have to keep spawning and dying because if you try to ghost run to another gy you get kicked by the worthless afk report addon everyone is using. Same happens in IOC you get reported the instant you join. It's awful and useless and sabotages games.
It's interesting how fast GMs respond when someone struggles to articulate, but when a clear and valid point like this is made about a real, abusable mechanic like mass AFK reports they stay completely silent. Selective engagement doesn’t help build trust or fix the actual problems.
When you get reported as afk it's 99% of time because of the automatic afk detection system and not because of a "report addon".
Good luck getting people to read that. I gave up.
Don’t twist my words. I never said anything about an AFK addon. You can just right-click someone’s raid frame and mass-report them AFK. That’s exactly what premades do when one of their players misses the queue. They coordinate it, and the person gets kicked before they even have a chance to get into combat.
And before someone jumps in with the “you have 2 minutes to get into combat” line - in reality, if you're reported fast enough, you're out before the fight even starts. It’s not some passive system. It’s being used deliberately to remove randoms and maintain a full premade. If you’ve actually been in those groups, you know exactly how it works. Right Shred?
(EDIT)
On the other side, if you're against that premade and stuck in the graveyard getting AoE farmed, the actual AFK detection punishes you too. You try to ghost run to another graveyard or reposition, and the system auto-flags you as AFK - then you're kicked. No counterplay, no second chance, just punished for not suiciding into a wall of 40 players farming hks.
Edited: 1 Day Ago Reason: Add additional information
Not discounting that possibility, but I can at least say I have never had that happen to me. But my characters are bis so it's possible that I'm not the primary target.
I am never in premades.
Next time we mass report someone and get them kicked, I’ll be sure to record it just for you. Since I’ve seen a lot of your posts, often defending similar tactics, it’s starting to feel like you might be part of the crew.
The mass-report kick isn’t random is used to clear out anyone who doesn’t follow the script.
You wouldn’t see it unless you’ve actually been on the outside of it. Because we join as a raid group and is written on /RW who to report. The reported guy won't even see it, since raid chat is separted from battleground chat when you join with av enabler and raid group. But hey, maybe a video/screenshot will help.
