Realms Coin Refund for Deleting Characters

I’m not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it could be a valuable addition.

What if players had the option to delete a character and receive a partial refund of the coins spent on store items tied directly to that character? For example, if a player spent 100 coins, they might get 50 back. A fair way to implement this could be to consider the player’s donation rank, increasing the refund percentage up to 60 or 70 depending on their rank. This would apply only to coins spent on non-account-bound store items like gear, mounts, or pets. Items earned or farmed in-game would not be refundable.

This system would give players the chance to recover part of their investment from characters they no longer use or want. Without this option, some players who hesitate to spend more might simply quit the server, which hurts player retention.

By offering a reasonable partial refund, Warmane could encourage long-term engagement and continued support. To prevent abuse, the refund could be limited to once every few months or only apply to max-level characters.

It wouldn’t be a full refund, but a balanced way to give players more flexibility while protecting the coin economy.
