Hey,

So, here's the thing , I'm getting a lot of whispers from Death Knights that are level 55, and I’ve had to use the Give Me Peace addon just to block PvP players who whisper you after you kill them.

If you don’t have the addon, you’re forced to manually add them to ignore. But the problem is, once you do that, they just create another Death Knight and whisper you again. It’s fast for them because the Death Knight starting zone gives them rested and allows for instant logout, making this process easy to repeat.

With Give Me Peace, you can block all whispers from people who aren’t on your friends list or in your guild , which helps, but it’s not ideal for people who still want to receive normal whispers from others.

My idea is simple: prevent Death Knights from being able to whisper until level 60 or 65. That small barrier would stop most of these toxic messages, since anyone seriously thinking about leveling a new Death Knight just to send a whisper would likely reconsider. Spending an hour or more leveling just to say something to you and get ignored in 1 second? Not many will bother.

If you think this suggestion has any downsides or unintended consequences, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

That seems like an extremely minor thing, for something that isn't widespread at all, and that would inconvenience way more players than necessary. And all that assuming it's viable to block a single class from chat like that, of course.

Personally, if this isn't happening to you gratuitously, but in retort for ganking or the like, I'd count it as an extra reason against it.

Yes, this usually happens after I PvP in zones like Wintergrasp, Icecrown, etc. Most of the players who whisper me are fully geared BiS PvP players who just wasn't happy about me attacking them.
You’re right, not many people complain about this (it’s mostly PvP players).
I’ll keep using GiveMePeace so it doesn’t ruin my day.

I usually don't ignore cucks like that. Just take a screenshot of the chat and paste it on the guild or pvp discord as a trophy. Cry me a river.
