I've tried to mess with addons to hide opposite faction yells in cities, but it just doesn't work. Addons such as SpamThrottle don't even know the faction, and fuzzy search is not effective on opposite faction due to translation.
Suggestion is only to not show /y of opposite faction in sanctuaries. You can still yell KEK in battlegrounds, wpvp or when sneaking in opposite faction citties, but in Dalaran and Shattrath we wouldn't see yells from other faction.
Why? Because it's just spam, and many raid leaders are looking for people in yell, it's near unusable at the moment.

I use the ChatFilter addon and blacklist keywords like "BUR," "GOTH," "NUFF," etc. Once you add enough of them, you won't see any alliance messages anymore.
