1. No more Blackrock merging with Onyxia

WHy allow fully geared instant 70s to fight against progression server? Makes no sense and can screw up arenas and BGs its really the most pointless thing I have ever seen in my life. Anyone else agree?

  2. I might be wrong but I think it's not Blackrock players who are merged into Onyxia's battlegrounds, but the other way around. This way, you can at least experience battlegrounds on that server because there on Onyxia is very low interest and participation in PvP.

  3. The purpose of Blackrock is to supplement the Onyxia PvP population. While there are some conflicts, the greater problem being solved overrides those things.

It's a problem unique to a private server. Where usually you'd have multiple realms to pull from for cross realm play, there aren't enough players overall to have healthy queue times. That's also why mercenary mode exists here.

Having instant 70 and removing the aspects outside of PvP attracts competitive PvP players and also puts players in the action faster. They have implemented a unique system of quests and rewards for Blackrock to simulate a similar effort as players in Onyxia.

I agree with that part. The part I don't like here in TBC is the vast amount of rogues from Blackrock. Aside from that I don't really notice a gear gap. Onyxia can get current season arena gear at the same rate and PvE gear is also pretty similar. If you have high prio on gear you'd actually get gear faster on Onyxia. The starter gear might be a little extra on Blackrock although that gap closes so fast if you actually know how to navigate in TBC. If you hit the queue button right at 70 then I hope you didn't expect to do well anyway.
