hi i have question i have lvl80 rogue on icc realm and i want to buy in ah lvl70leather chest and i want transmog it but i dont have leatherworking and on itemy is "Requires Leatherworking (350)" will scroll of deception work on it ? or i need to have lw

You can only transmog items that are soulbound. Since you don’t have leatherworking to craft the item, I assume you’d try to buy it as a BOE. However, equipping that BoE requires the profession you don’t have, meaning you can’t soulbind it, and without being soulbound, it can’t be used for transmog.

Additionally, some sources claim that profession required items can’t be used for transmogrification at all. I can’t test this right now, but as it stands, the short answer is: no, you can’t transmog items that aren’t soulbound.

yes you can use profession reqired items, i have pattern from sunwell for cloth chest, i crafted it and used scroll on it and it worked, but i forgot you need to first equip the item to make it soulbound to use scroll on it, but ty for remind my
