What is the guidance for this issue? I understand from other threads the NPC is not spawning in the correct place, and then dies sometime after Garfrost, and to prevent this we're to destroy all the mobs at the start of the level, then the turn-in NPC will still not make its way to Garfrost but will be alive for us to seek out and turn-in?
I play DPS, so I have no control over what mobs we kill, and every PoS run the party instantly mounts up to skip many of the mobs to the right, on the way to the first boss. I don't know where the turn-in NPC is, I can't see him, I can't control that we go kill mobs around him, and because of this I'm unable to advance into HoR and beyond.
What is the recommended guidance that I follow to get past this critical quest on my Warlock? Thanks.
Updated - I found a generous tank in-game to help me out. This was very frustrating and it locked progression into HoR, so hopefully this helps the next player.
Gorkun Ironskull is located very close to the start right about where you first stop after jumping and skipping through a lot of the early trash mobs. So think when you first start the instance you mount up and head right, past the water, and when you cross the path where the drake is pathing back and forth from the right, you're just about at him. Before you make that final run over to the poison boss, look left and he's right there, kneeling, with no question mark over his head. You can walk up and turn-in without combat, but careful as you may aggro a patrol group.
