1. Buff Sartharion HP based on how many drakes are left alive.

    The problem with the Sartharion 3D encounter is that you basically need a 6k+ gs just to get invited to a group, which completely locks out other players from experiencing the fight.

    People often say, "Just make your own group" but the real issue is that most players genuinely don't know it's possible to beat the encounter with around 4k gs... Everyone seems to believe the zerg strategy is how the fight is meant to be done and that you can't kill the drakes during the encounter which completely undermines the cool, coordinated design of the fight.

    As of September 23, 2022, Blizzard addressed this by changing the "Will of Sartharion" buff. Instead of a flat +25% health buff while any of the drakes are alive, it now scales based on how many drakes remain:

    +25% if 1 is alive,
    +45% if 2,
    +65% if all 3.

    This change effectively removed the "uga buga zerg" meta without making the fight harder overall. It just simply promotes the proper raid coordination and restores the intended design of the encounter.

  2. Same thing can be said for most raids before 3.2 patch. Buffing old raids or adding a heroic difficulty has been suggested and denied. Personally I would like a heroic version of Naxx or OS or EoE or Ulduar or Onyxia or anything vanilla/tbc. You can add a heroic difficulty while the original instance is still there and playable.
