i hope im putting this forum post under the right category if i didnt my apologies
but im getting closer to getting all the gold for artisan riding and im still in my green and blue questing gear 2.5k gs and i was wondering if im better off saving or buying something else with my gold any tips or help would be appreciated
You can live without artisan flying. It has its drawbacks, but it's not the end of the world kind. It heavily depends how much you value faster movements where you can fly.
If you want to save some money while buying artisan riding, you can get the reputation of flying trainer NPC to exalted, to get hefty 1k discount. Yes, that counts. Reputations for Northrend ones that offer flying training are Warsong Offensive (H), Valiance Expedition (A). Orgrimmar and Stormwind reputations counts too, if you visit Thrallmar and Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula (Outland) respectively.
Your other option for the money are BoE items, or gems and enchants when you get to that phase. BoE's would help with inflated PUG raid GS requirements, and faster access to ToC, FoS/PoS/HoR RDF's, just don't forget the quest to unlock PoS/HoR.
You could also get some of the cheaper BoE's, and grind some rep, and get some money while you're at it, for cheaper artisan riding.
