1. DK pets and snapshot

    You can use the pet page to see the Ghoul is dynamic, he changes when your DK does. But with the Gargoyle there is no stats to view. I was under the impression that you needed to recast Horn of Winter to make Gargoyle damage better, or pop a haste trinket after he had already been summoned. Apparently Blizzard make some changes before MOP to make things Dynamic but only somethings until MOP when it was all fully dynamic. So I decided to run some tests to see of the Gargoyle just adopts what stats/buffs you already have on yourself.

    Gargoyle test - unbuffed total damage for the duration of his summon. No HoW at all:

    The gargoyle appears to take the buffs already active and is not dependent on them being applied after it is already summoned.

  2. I tested this alot, it was about 1½ Year ago though but, Gargoyle snapshots your stats when you summon it and NOT when all thinks... I tried for example, the haste meta gem that gives 450? ish haste if I recall right, with gargoyle and I clicked Gargoyle right before it expired, but it didnt get the bonus from it, so with further checking I realised.

    Gargoyle dosent actually exist when you click the summon, it has a visual where it comes down and that takes a while, until the point it actually "exist" and starts casting, THEN it snapshotted and that takes a while, so the whole (start in UH presence when you summon it then emp runic wep and swap blood presence and go normal rotation after starter didnt actually change ANYTHING cause you swapped over to blood before it actually "existed).

    There has been Several changes to the gargoyle recently though and I havent played UH for a while now but yes, Warmanes code it actually way more "Blizz" like then "Classic" could ever even get close to, Things like these are not rlly that hard to check on Dummy, take off all gear, sept wep etc, change wep enchant so no proccs can interfere, check with horns of winter before and not after vs after and not before, then 3rd try with both and look at the details on dmg your gargoyle does (I use skada, it shows each and every hit how much dmg etc)
