WotLK Balance dps rotation

I couldn't find on this forum PVE guide for balance or the answer for question - what is the proper dps rotation for balance? Just started and I have no clue what im doing :D

Ok after few tries on dummy I understand it is something like this
Insect Swarm > Moonfire > Wrath, watching Insect swarm and moonfire dot to keep it on target and spamming wrath
If eclipse lunar launch then: Insect Swarm > Moonfire > Starfire
If eclipse solar launch then again: Insect Swarm > Moonfire > Wrath
Or im missing something?

your best bet is to go to logs and look how people proficient with the class do their opener/rotation.
otherwise you will likely be recommended 3 different things and likely none of them will be correct

IS > Moonfire > Wrath / Wrath / Wrath .... etc

Lunar Proc

Starfire > Starfire > Starfire .... etc.

DON'T stop casting >Starfire<, even if dot's are down, as long as you have eclipse you are good

Once Lunar Eclipse is DOWN, you ONLY apply >Insect Swarm< and CONTINUE spamming >Starfire<

When Solar Eclipse procs, start spamming Wraths

Spam wrath's until Eclipse ends, apply moonfire and continue spamming Wraths until you get lunar.

That's the basics you should know about boomie. Practice it and get used to it, then you can go into logs and improve your DPS.
I recommend watching Boomie POV's, it'd help you a lot with understanding the spec further.

1. Faerie Fire on the target if no other Balance Druid is doing it.
2. Starfall on cooldown outside of eclipse procs.
3. Force of Nature on cooldown. Your first cast of this spell should be right before hero or lust.
4. Spam Wrath during Eclipse (Solar) , and spam Starfire during Eclipse (Lunar).
5. Use Insect Swarm right after lunar and keep it up during solar.
6. The only time to use Moonfire is when moving. it has been shown to be a DPS loss to use it before a lunar

Star Fire is baseline filler.

Everybody here assumes BIS...
If you gearing up and have 2xT9 (Moonfire dot ticks can crit) and/or still have the triumph idol (Idol of Lunar Fury - 4%+ crit when Moonfire dot ticks) the priority on keeping Moonfire up is higher.

after talking to some guys, they tested insect spell and based on simulator damage, decided to take out the talent and not use it. It was a DPS loss for them. SO. there is that.
