Greetings Warmane community,
After many years of service, the time has come to bid farewell to Frostwolf.
The realm will come to a close on October 1, 2025.
The realm has served countless battles, forged friendships, and carried memories of victories both great and small. However, as we continue to look forward and focus our efforts on the realms that remain most active and beloved, Frostwolf will be officially decommissioned.
Compensation for Frostwolf Players
To honor the dedication of those who have adventured on Frostwolf in 2025, we will be providing:
- An instant max-level boost available to be redeemed on Onyxia, our current premier realm, for all players who were active this year and had a maximum level character.
- A refund of all coins obtained and used this year on the Frostwolf realm to each account that was active on Frostwolf.
This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it will strengthen the quality and longevity of our project as a whole. We thank every single player who has spent time on Frostwolf, and we welcome you to continue your adventure on our other realms.

I played on there since 2015 and still play from time to time, its sad to see a realm die off.. Would be awesome to get coins back from the past years aswell :(

You'd think a player that has been mostly active and looking out for the realm would have a bit more than just a max level boost on a new server (not even of their choosing).
Consider giving them the option of a pre-bis class set, as well as juicy achievements, it would only be fair.
Was hoping to say it's been a pleasure meeting you staff in the end, but it wasn't.
All the careless efforts to try and keep Frostwolf playable, let alone active, were noticed.
Big shoutout to @Nobuemon, for actually being a great person to liaise with if you wanted something looked into.
Big chapter now closing, finally, it's been a long drag toward this last year.

This is not fair to the players on the server. Many people are fed up with the previous patches and want to play in this one. Many people will move to other servers with Mist of Pandaria realm because you decided to close this one.

In download you can chouse Mist of Pandaria. When you download it, just check in your reamlist to be SET realmlist "logon.warmane.com" and you can play.

I think it's a shame. Such a great expansion that had so much potential. I've been trying to find positive aspects about Frostwolf to hold on to, but when peak player count is less than 50 (and that's with both factions combined), when the sole person (shoutout to Nobuemon) who does a little too much work on the server for us gets placed on Onyxia, when people aren't given any incentive to join the server aside from having more chances at winning the lottery so they can hoard more coins to sell on the website, when people have to wintrade arenas to get any semblance of gear at level 90, when Warmane continues to blame the lack of players as a reason to not bother actually putting effort into make it appealing, when people need to multibox because there is literally no one to raid with, when rdf hasn't been used organically for nearly 5 years, when you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find a reason to play on Frostwolf it becomes outright impossible to be able to cope.
I've tried to be optimistic, but I've long since been disappointed.
Keep your coins and keep your level boost. I've no interest in wrath of the **** king.

This is absurd. Why are you making people give up warmane? If you stop Frostwolf you will lose a lot of players because they clearly don't feel like playing in your other realmlists.

I don't need yours boost of coin for Wrath of BC... I like Mist of Pandaria. If you close this ream I will find other server who has Mist.

I see that my question still goes unanswered. What is to be given to the veteran players who've been keeping it together for 10 years? Reporting stuff, coaching new players, being active in the community, those who spent countless hours playing? Ive personally got 11 characters 585+ on 2, 3 and even 4 specs, farmed all obtainable legendaries and hardest to obtain transmogs. What am i to receive? A boost and a pat on my shoulder?
Lets not even mention the 1k+ donated and all the mounts that ive farmed, lol. Looking forward to a reply, or probably a ban/mute cus thats usually the way it goes when someone dares have valid points on forum
