Lordaeron Lost characters

So I recently came back, and when I got to Lordaeron character list, it was empty. I had two characters there, they even appear in the realm list with "(2)". It wouldn't make sense that someone would have stolen them or something because there weren't even max level, and I own way better characters in other realms anyways. Did I miss something or are they simply gone?

Your local files, where those numbers are taken from, aren't up-to-date after characters were deleted during inactivity cleanup or by another user from different PC.
Characters deleted during cleanup can't be restored. Player (you or somebody else) deleted characters have recovery period of 30 days, but that costs coins.
