1. Trying to play Warmane on a mac m1

Best regards, I have installed Warmane on my MacBook Air m1 2020 with Crossover everything was going excellent until I logged into the game, I have investigated and apparently it is the incompatibility with 32 bits but the curious thing is that the game does start so I suppose there must be some solution, I am attaching an error that appears in the character creator.

  2. I have no idea where to ask this, so maybe someone from the staff can see it and pass it along. If not I may post it in the bug tracker later.

Rosetta 2, the system that allows ARM processors on macOS to run x86 code, does not support AVX instructions. 1) It seems the retail game does not have AVX instructions, 2) the crash happens in the character screen, right when the anti-cheat payload is sent from the server to the client. This leads me to suspect the payload is being compiled with AVX support on (which is reasonable in 2026), but using a compiler flag AVX support could be disabled allowing the game to be played using Rosetta 2.

  3. I have found 3 possible options, I have not tried any due to lack of information to obtain your files:

    1) replace the modified wow.exe (7.7mb) with a clean one (3.5mb)

    2) find a clean WotLK client and play on the warmane.

    3) (best option): I found this forum:

Apparently it talks about 2 miraculous files that by pasting them into the warmane client solves everything (winerosetta.dll and winerosettaldr.exe) unfortunately all the pages that stored these files are now private or have been deleted.

At the moment I have only managed to open until the creation of the character and I suppose that therefore the entire game with the stormforge server with the Mists of Pandaria client but apparently the most stable WotLK client is the warmane one since the other servers don't even open, good night.
