  8. Episode 8 is out!

I apologize for being late with the last episode, but due to personal reasons there simply wasn't time. Apologies and thanks in advance for your understanding.

Goldgrind is back. After a longer break, it’s time to finish what was started. In Episode 8, the journey from level 70 to 80 is finally completed on Warmane’s Icecrown realm, using only gold farming as the core of the challenge. No boosts, no shortcuts — just questing, exploration, and smart decision-making.

This episode covers the final leveling push through Northrend, unlocking Cold Weather Flying, fully exploring every zone, and farming herbs and ores along the way. Exploration experience, solo quest challenges, and efficient routing all play a role in reaching level 80 while continuing to build gold for the endgame.

With max level achieved, Goldgrind prepares for tanking, upgrades his gear for easy RDF access, and makes the first major milestone of the series — purchasing the first BiS item from the Warmane store, Deathbringer’s Will. This marks the end of leveling and the beginning of the true gold grind toward full BiS.

  9. Episode 9 is out!

Episode 9 of the Goldgrind series is here! ??

After reaching level 80 and buying the first BiS item, the real grind begins. In this episode, I create a DK alt (Gringodld), power-level Alchemy and Inscription, and invest all available gold into herbs to build a serious Auction House crafting operation.

At the same time, Goldgrind farms Storm Peaks, Icecrown, and Sholazar Basin while the gold/coin ratio keeps rising before the gold squish.

The result? Nearly 100k gold farmed, 2 trades sold within hours, and the second BiS item acquired — Sharpened Twilight Scale. ?

You’ll also see full TSM history from both characters to prove everything is legit — no shenanigans.

  10. Episode 10 is out!

Episode 10 of the Goldgrind series is here! ??

After securing the second BiS item, the grind continues — but this time under much harder conditions after the gold squish. Prices crash, competition rises, and the Auction House becomes a battlefield.

In this episode, I create a second Death Knight alt (Ringo), power-level Jewelcrafting and Enchanting, and test multiple gold-making methods — some profitable, some not. Meanwhile, Gringodld continues running Operation MEG (Milling Equals Gold), turning herbs into steady profit through Inscription and Alchemy.

At the same time, Goldgrind steps in with raw farming power, spending hours in Storm Peaks, Icecrown, and Sholazar Basin to keep the gold flow alive while both alts manage Auction House operations.

The result? Thousands of gold generated through different methods, lessons learned from market competition, and finally — another 23 coins secured through two fast trades.

And just like that, the third BiS item is obtained — the off-hand weapon. ?

This episode shows both the good and the bad sides of gold making after a major economy change — real grind, real competition, real results.

    Episode 11 is out!

Episode 11 of the Goldgrind series is here! ??

After obtaining the third BiS item, the grind continues with another new alt — GoldSkin. This time I test Skinning and Leatherworking gold making after the gold squish, while Gringo keeps generating gold through Inscription and Goldgrind farms herbs, ores, and RDFs in the background.

The result? Another 45k gold traded for coins and the fourth BiS item secured — the Warrior T10 helm. ?

This episode once again shows both the good and bad sides of gold making on Warmane after the economy changes — real grind, real competition, real results.
