Role shortage and dungeon queue times for DPS classes
Why should I sacrifice my character progression just because there is a shortage of healers and tanks on the server?I am currently gearing up a Feral Druid (Cat). Due to the lack of healers and tanks, the Dungeon Finder feels like a never-ending bank queue. I have to wait 25 to 40 minutes for a single pop. When people play healers, they do not clear dungeons alone. Every role contributes to getting the final rewards and emblems/badges. If a DPS class like a Rogue could not enter the dungeon without a healer, they would get no badges at all.I do not understand why I have to sacrifice my comfort and my preferred class playstyle just to accommodate casual players who spend months stuck in Forge of Souls and Pit of Saron.
Oh it looks like another "I want it all, I want it now" episode was posted, oh wow, by yet another "I'm a DPS!!". Why should tanks and heals sacrifice themselves just to accommodate casual self-centered strictly DPS players who will most likely roll for tank/heal items given the chance, but never ever will they actually put those items in use?
You can play strictly DPS all you want, you don't have to sacrifice anything. Just know that there are 50k other DPS players like you and only a handful of tanks/heals. You chose your preferred role, just like tanks and heals.
Here is an easy fix if you want to play DPS and are having trouble. Put a 5m, 10m, and 25m group together and go farm heroics and raids. Also, you earn points on your account for each day you log in. Just go to https://www.warmane.com/account and collect them. You can use those points, to buy gear off the Warmane Store https://www.warmane.com/account/store It takes time, but it works. The last option I suggest is just to donate for coins to spends on the store.
I am literally sacrificing my preferred DPS role by queuing as a healer. I only do this because there are thousands of DPS players out there, while heaters can be counted on one hand. My sole purpose for queuing this way is to speed up my gearing process so I can finally start raiding.
