WotLK pet unhappy, will it run away?

I know that in burning crusade, if you don't feed your pet it will become unhappy and run away.
Now i,m playing wotlk and in battlegrounds when i die a few times the icon next to my pet is red ( unhappy ),
Will my pet in wotlk run away if its unhappy and i don't feed it?

Yes, it will. Keep a stack of food in your bags at all times and feed the little critter. It does extra damage that way too. Plus, the pet only becomes unhappy if IT dies, not YOU.

U have a minor glyph to increase ur pet happines with mend pet.
