before I start, I wanna say sorry for my bad english x)
So ! I'm new (as you can see here : http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....929-Hi-people-! ) and I've some questions which could help me to choice my future realm.
We all know that Wotlk is nowadays an old expansion so I was wondering if the Wotlk realms are still as "dynamic" as the beginning of the expansion ? I know that Deathwing and Ragnaros are very populated but I prefer to ask anyway (because maybe all of players have the best equipment so it could be difficult for a new player to start from the beginning and find other new players ...I don't know if it's clear)
I don't ask that for Cataclysm and MoP realms because these are "recent" expansions.
My other question is about the PvP. I wonder if the PvP is difficult here ? (when I used to play on french servers, people said Arena Tournament is the best PvP experience). If that's the case, where the PvP is the most difficult, on what realm (no matter the expansion) ?

Well, people are always making alts and new players come often. As far as gearing goes, it seems that tanks are needed in pos farms and rdf.
And for the PvP, well someone else is going to need to answer that.

Here are reviews for the three expansions available at Molten-WoW/Warmane: WotLK, CATA, MoP; Deathwing/Ragnaros WotLK PvE/PvP realms are the ones in best shape. Ragnaros WotLK PvE/PvP realm is very dynamic in my own experience with population in the range [2k,4.5k] according to online figures. Blackrock is the WotLK PvP arena realm in case you want instant action.

Even if WoTLK is the oldest expansion hosted by Warmane, it hasn't lost it's dynamic, i'd say. It's logical that the PvP-only realms would have the highest difficulty on them, but it be best if you login and determine that yourself. :)

Sites that do ratings on things such as movies generate their ratings by votes casted by many people. So please, feel free to go ahead and cast your vote and ask others to do so as well.
That being said, the OP only seems interested in information about WotLK also.
@Magisto, I personally don't recommend Strands of the Ancients and Isle of Conquest battlegrounds. Otherwise, PvP on the WotLK realms is pretty nice. There are plenty of minor issues here and there, I'm not sure if there's anything I'd call game breaking. I also prefer it over what Blizzard offers these days. heh.
It's obviously not going to be "start of the expansion" sort of experience like you're asking about, but as Sixtynine mentioned, there are always new players around in addition to people who are making alts. There's plenty of people around to gear up with. There is a decent amount of the population that is doing the lower-end content.
